TunerCat users.... Question inside please....

To those of you using TunerCat, what kind of system are you using it on, as far as Processer speed and RAM is concerned? I want to start using it, and have an older IBM ThinkPad laptop to use. But it's only a Pentium 133 with 64MB of RAM and TunerCat suggests a minimum of a Pentium 166. Anyone out there using less then a P166? Thanks.

I've used as slow as a 486/25 MHz, but for logging to actually get data to figure out how to get the timing etc down, forget it, the faster the better.

I've used a P120 and that would be OK to log (Freescan) and program with, although I get about 3 captures per second more with a PII 366.

Ken, you should be fine running TunerCat on an older laptop. The slowest part will be when the program tries to access large tables or draw 3D graphs. But it wont affect your ability to use it.

As far as logging, I think my laptop is a 233 and it has no trouble with FreeScan. Thats my only experience with logging...
