Cool 12s with stock stall, is it possible?

Hey everyone I was wondering is it possible to hit 12s with the stock stall and no juice or supercharging? Also without going to 3.73s? Any suggestions would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks in advance

Before I went with this new motor, my best was 12.85@107.5 with a 1.89 60' NA, internally stock motor. Stock stall, shift kit, LCA's, Random Tech adj T/A, Mac headers, ATR catback, Nitto DR's, CAI. No weight reduction at all . .. but I did have 3.73's. I also have over 50 slips that are all in the 12.8's low 12.9's with that setup.

So, yet it is easily possible.

Pete.

I would spin the Nitto's until there was smoke coming out of both wheel wells for atleast 5 seconds. Hold the rpm's @1100 and nail it out of the hole. My best 60 on stock stall was 1.86 I think . . . it's been awhile

12.96, stock stall, stock heads/cam, 3.23s as witnessed by a large group of MFBA members (including Pro Stock John)

there is another fellow w/ 97? TA who went an incredible 12.8 @ 108 (?) w/ stock stall/heads/cam

my car was not exactly light back then either, front skinnies, nittos on stock rims, still had AC and bumper supports

Stock heads.
Stock camshaft.
Stock converter.
