Exclamation Anybody here fried MSD boxes before??

I recently did something to my original 4+ year old box, car wouldn't fire. Bypass to coil only and car ran! Bought new box, car started and ran. Went one Saturday to track, no problems. Next Saturday at track after a couple of time trials, car does SAME THING!
No fire! Bypass box, runs okay! I used the MSD harness so all is well there!

ANY IDEAS or EXPERIENCES?? TIA!

If you give MSD tech a call they can help you out. Yes they do rebuild boxes and if your's is still relatively new then you can send it back and get it repaired for free. A little thing called a warrenty. Cool Huh. Good luck.

kev, may sound silly but from my recent events of trouble shootingi found that my trigger wire conector wasn't crimped properly. i would recommend checking all of your connectors.
mind you my box is 6+ yrs old.
g'luck, their tech support/ service repair is great!!!!

Cool

My MSD digital 6 has been fantastic. No problems whatsoever. I mounted it under the front of the car right behind the front air dam. I was able to put it there because I do not drive this car when it rains.
