Back when .500 was a perfect light, I cut a .501 in my 96 Cavalier.

Re: Best R/T

It probably depends on much much someone races.... I have had a few perfect lights. I remember last season really upsetting some of the guys in Modified Eliminator at my home track. My Camaro was having problems so I rented a little beater from Enterprise that wouldn't make the required ET for eliminations but I figured I would enter anyway to get the extra passes on the car so I had better odds in Street Eliminator. I got lucky and cut a .501 on my first pass and got the bye run in Modified. Someone actually filed a protest over that...

.000 in time shots = 1st round bye. Even # of cars so it didn't matter. Got to the 4th round ladder, cut another bad light .062 and mis-staged (a little too deep)- ran a 11.46 on a 11.43 dial. Not nearly good enough against the ATCO hitters. FYI: I was pitted next to a red vega and was getting his share of luck.

After the 1st round he asked me if I wanted to buy a vega? So not good. I didn't talk to him about it but he may be having issues with the toilet (alcohol fuel system). He ran a 1.2xx 60' and 9.30 in time shots.

My wife has cut a .410 (.010) light ... oh, you meant sportsman lights, she has cut a .500 (.000). Hell, she can even red light on a Pro Light (once cut a .389 (-.011))! Me, I have cut about three .499s and two .501s ... all on the same night!
