My car must be a 13.5-13.3 second car as well...cc305 is basically a hotcam. I really have to botch a run to run a 13.5-13.3, even on street tires.
And your not driving a convert that's 200-300 lbs heavier either. Lets talk about his car not yours.
And a CC305 is a CC305 not a Hot cam, almost doesn't count.

You know nothing of how his car performs..unless I missed something in his post. I was merely giving a very similar example.

Verts are ~ 150 lbs. heavier than t-top cars.

Do you know even know the specs on the CC305?

A mid-low 13 second cammed LT1 should be driven off a cliff.

aye carumba! its getting a little heated...

gb95zconv- the ls1 would be on stockers wheels and tires..245/50 16's -not- drag radials... if anything the lt1(me) would have dr's...

im gonna go hit some scales in the next week or so, and see exactly where i am at with the weight... i am interested to just get that facts ....

also the ls1 is a t-top'ed car...

Squirrelmaster,
I am unsure of the weight difference between your vert and a t-topped Formula...but I do have a "Hotcam kit" in my car and I think you would benifit alot from changing your rear gear ratio to a 3:73 or 4:10.
I can only gauge the LS1's that I have encountered, and a stock LS1 is not as quick as my setup.
However, I have run my setup with stock 3:42 gears and this cam (small as it is) didn't like it.

Run him without the gas...uhh the nos or taco belle...it's all in fun right!!

1. neither do you. There's nothing simular about your car and his. You'll see when he posts his weight.
2. LT1 verts are 150lbs. heavier than LT1 t-top cars. LS1 cars are much lighter yet
3. It doesn't matter he doesn't have a CC305
4. You really think so??? What if the car is being run at say 5000' DA?

1. Right - hence the example.
2. If you read my posts, I wasn't comparing his weight to a LS1
3. Not exactly the same, but VERY close.
4. I know so. I ran the times in my sig with a 4800' DA.
