Thanks guys, I found three problems that were hurting my times also this week. #1 Once I pulled off the driveshaft to swap converters, the yoke was really loose on the rearend (you could rock it back and forth quite a bit) so I tightened it back up where it should have been and pinned the nut, #2 A friend that was at the track told me the car was pulling the driver tire about 6inches higher than the pass. tire so I look under the car and find the swaybar bolt just barely connected. Remember I had some new gears installed and this was first time out with the car. #3 I had taken the opti apart to modify the rotor to keep it from flying apart@7000rpms and evidently overtightened the bolts b/c 2 were stripped and the cap was very loose so I took the opti out and tapped the holes to the next size. So i am going back Sunday to see if i got rid of all the little problems. Later Clint

I had that problem with my Moser aswell. I contacted Ratech about it because its their parts I used with the gear install and was told its a center locking nut whatever that means. It didn't lock for me following their directions. Lots of red loctite and peened it good this time.

How did you end up modifying the opti? Just cutting the rotor off?

I took the rotor off the opti and riveted the tip to the plastic with an aluminum rivet.

Would you happen to have a picture of this? And is this a common problem with high rpms?

I don't have a picture of the opti, and I am hoping to catch some good air in the next few months. Thanks.

Did you put the rivets in the place of these two plastic things?

I think it's fairly new. What's wrong with it?
