Re: List of fastest LT1's
Tim,
just teasin' ya it would be nice to hook up again, just so I could dump more of that fake beer on the ground only to replace it with a Canadian!
oh and coming back stronger is what the winter time is all about
ameanta,
i have no clue what event or where I'll get out to. maybe do some t'n't at Norwalk if given the opportunity. I have only been there once, but man I would love to say that is my home track!!! it is the best track I have ever raced at!!!!!! i will post up when the time comes, hmm sometime in April!!!!

Re: List of fastest LT1's
I'm in there now baby! Woo Hoo! Full interior, no AC in a solid roller 396. Lingenfelter ported LT1 heads, 58mm tb, 12.8 to 1, ATI 8 inch converter, 4.33 gears. 1.49 60, 6.83 8th at 101.2 and 10.73 @ 126.8. All NA. 10.50's if I can get it hooked up.

is it possible to get on this list with the only LT1 impala SS (clone) in the 10's all natural, (there is one other guy almost there with an 11.02).
Its a verified and back up run by yours truly.
Karl Ellwein, 95 impala SS (cloned from cop car). Natural 383LT1 short block by Ellwein Engines with Chapman TFS LT1 heads, Crane solid roller cam, TH400, ATI 4400 stall, footbrake--transbrake not used, 3.73 rear gears, full 10pt roll cage, car is gutted and weight is 3600lb with driver, Track was MIR on 6-11-06 with low humidity summer air. 28" slicks, very stock-ish suspension with BMR upper and lower control arms and Impala SS 8.5" rear and Eaton posi by DTS, no air bags, nothing but a full 22 galons of gas and a big slick tire for traction.
10.965 @ 123.71 1/4 mile
6.994 @ 99.13 1/8th
1.537 60'
Looking for 10.60 @ 126mph all natural this winter with 4.10 rear and mini spool and 150lbs shaved off.
Check out the impala SS (LT1) 1/4 times page for verification and also see that Combination Motorsports Pig is now in the 9.30's @ 149mph YIKES! and a new King of the Overweights (Anders Envall) just went 9.844 @ 137.51 at 4444lb (nothing comes close to his true street car 1/4 times in the Impala SS world)
http://dan.esteban.com/impalass/ReturnTopET.asp
That's the link. (the best fully verified and peer checked Impala SS 1/4 times page in the world) (sortable and searchable).
Thanks,
Karl Ellwein
PS: I know it's not an Fbody but maybe the quickest natural LT1 would get mention
