Tanner is safe...for now. New personal best

Well tanner you get to ratain your title for a little while longer. Looks like my clutch is giving up and the car just wouldn't 60'. It felt like I was riding a converter out. Best I could get was a 1.49 for the night. I kept raising the launch rpm but nothing helped...went too high on one run and I though I was spinning untill a guy that watched the run said it dead hooked...I was pedaling it trying to get the tires to hook..lol. The clutch slipped on every gear change bad on that run (10.85 @ 127.29 on a 1.58 60'). The car was pushing in the lights bad when I brought the rpms up also...another sign of a clutch giving up. I pushed all the way out one run and got no time.

Best run of the night 10.77 @ 127.65 on a 1.509 60'. Still have a high end problem so I was once again short shifting. Its getting better thouth the more crap I change

Oh well..your safe for now tanner...New clutch is in the shop and I have some W's on the way.

Nice time Tim. Can't wait to see what it capable of on a solid run without any issues. Stop feeding gismo after midnight.

That little 355" LT1 is making some serious power to go 127+mph on motor. Good luck Tim. You might be running out of time this year though. Later Clint

Tanner..I'm trying man..did you put some kind of canadian molson hex on me when you were down here? I tell you what..I'm having a blast..even with the problems.

Derrick....hopefully soon I will have that good run..only time will tell.

clint..yea..I know about running out of time. guess I will just have to fix the problems..dyno tune the thing finally and hopefully pick up enough to hold my own when the heat gets here.

With the clutch having that much slippage I'm anxious to see the trap speeds after a new clutch. Oh... go buy some new tires too, LOL.
