I've heard with nitto dr you can see 1.8 on up. This all depend on how the track is prep. I don't think sfc will help on your 60ft, there use more for road course racing to stiffen the car up. You want to avoid wheel hop off the line.

2.3 is horrible......especially with drag radials. I would different pressures in your tires and do longer or shorter burnouts (change it up and see what works) You are either bogging bad or your spinning bad to get a 2.3 60'. Me personally I would shoot for a 1.95 or better 60 foot with your mods.

i thought sfc's help traction all the way around the way a well set up high end sports car such as the vette would get better traction. and i am definately not spinning off the line with these tires on the track. i guess im just being too cautious trying not to break my rear end.

what is the best way to reduce wheel hop, because i was hopping pretty painfully at the 1-2 shift.

Some boxed LCA's with the poly bushings will help. I got to a 1.8 with my mini nittos so, you should be able to too...good luck

I run 2.3 '60ft times with G/Year eagles with stock pressures (30 psi). I was wondering what boxed LCA's and a new torque arm would do for me on the same tyres?. Want to keep on 'street' tyres for now.

get lower control arms and relocation brackets. I have cut a best of 1.69 short time on 275 nittos. If you are not spinning, then try leaving at higher rpms until you do start spinning, then back off a couple hundred rpms.

I run my nittos at around 15psi and when I do my burnout I get my mph up to about 55 and hold it there for about 7 seconds to really heat them up.

Nice short time for DRs, ScreamnChicken. My first time on DRs I was cutting 1.94 60s pretty consistently. Thats not bad, except for the fact that I have 4.10s. The track prep was pretty bad - it was either bog or spin. If you are at a track that doesn't have very good track prep, line up right behind a car with big meats. Then you can follow his trail of rubber and that might help you a little.
