Post Where to set tire and airbag pressure?

I'm going to be running 26x11.5x16" ET Streets on stock 16x8s on Friday for the first time and was wondering about where I should be on tire pressure and also about how much pressure to put in my passenger side airbag.

Car has 1LE springs and Bilstein HD shocks if that matters.

Also, I've got a steel Street Twin, 12-bolt rear and around 360 rwhp NA with heads/cam.

Thanks for any help,
Rich

I run 15.5 pounds in mine, bit I have tubes and 10" rims...

Make sure you mark the tires on the rims so you can see if they turn on you. Mine turned back when I only dyno'd 320hp, so keep an eye on it.

I think this will be a trial and error process. I run about 18 pounds in my airbag. Depends on the weight transfer... I have drag springs and shocks, no sway bar, and a 6 point welded bar. I would probably start around 14 and go from there if I were you.

I posted elsewhere about my best run with the new tires, but the pressures that worked best were 15 in the tires and 15 in the bag. Also, think my guage may read a little high, so that may be more like 14.

Thanks for your advice. It helped me get that elusive 1.6x short time.
