2000 4L60E with low main pressior problem please help
Hello Everyone,
I have a 4l60e that came to me with no reverse and winning, so i dropped the trans and i found that the driving shell splines were stripped and the sprag in the input drum was rolled and the costumer stated that for two months the trans went in and out of 4th gear when hot, so i replaced the sprag, shell and all elect. valves and sensors and over hauled the trans to be safe.
when it was back together it worked like a champ until I drove it for 20 to 30 minutes or so then i could fill 4th gear drop out at light throttle and at low speed going in and out of lockup when worm. i checked the main pressure it is 87=R, 60=P,N, 60=D,3,2,1.
i read somewhere to replace the spring between the TCC regulator and isolator valves with a piece of 5/16” steel tube to correct the lockup, but i didn't not want to just put a band aid on it i would like to repair it. now with the elect. plug disconnected from the trans the pressure are R=205, N=195, D,3,2,1=180, dose any one have any good ideas ? i would appetite any help and Thank You.

Yes i am sure it is dropping out of fourth, it drops into tired gear, but only at really light throttle, maybe it a computer problem but theres no codes ? i think the PSI is to low , its great with out the elect. hooked up ?
