Changing the pinion angle on new 12 bolt rear end? Q's

P.s. new 12 bolt went in the car (m6) and the pinion angle is outon the rear end, causing the driveshaft to smack and rub the e. brake line bracket in the tunnel of the underbody. How do you lower the angle of the rear end, ( the pinion angle) Adj. lower control arms? Relocation brackets? The drive shaft is TRASHED! Mabey I can get some pics up soon.

The only way to change the pinion angle is with an adjustable torque arm.

IMO something is installed wrong for the angle to be off that far. Double check that the front torque arm mount is installed correctly.

Relocation brackets or adjustable controlling arms won't change pinion angle. I'd double check it's installed correctly. An adjustable torque arm is your best bet once you insure the install is correct.

By chance, did you measure the angle? Most are only off a few degrees, yours sounds like it's off a lot.

I have seen them measure the angle on Horse power Tv But I do not own the tool or knowhow to measure the angle? It is way out of wack though. We need to check the front mount of the torque arm.

Hopefully, it works out fine for you. It's got to be something simple if it's that far out. If you were 5 degrees out, then it would be time to get an adjustable torque arm, but I don't think that's the case here.

Good luck with the 12-bolt.
