Hey I just changed my automatic tranny in my 93 Z-28 to a T56 manual. Now for some odd reason as soon as I take off it speedometer go all the way to pegged out and thats at residential speeds. This also creates my odometer to read super fast as well I checked it just the other day and it read 10 miles per a 1 mile distance. Obviously I don't wanna leave it like this u can imagine the tickets and the value drop. Can anyone please help me is this a chip issue and if so where is a good place to find the proper chip?

 

You need the right PCM programing or change from the auto the reluctor gears on the manual have a different tooth count than the auto

You have to tear apart the tranny to do that. Just get it tuned for a manual. You can get it done by PCMForLess or MadZ28, or even have the dealer flash you a stock M6 tune.
