Trans leaking

I just checked the fittings and lines to my cooler, those are fine, the bottom of the radiator suport has a lot of ATF on it, the fitting in to the radiator is also dry. So where else could this leak be comming from? Its from the front passenger side of the nose area.

Re: Trans leaking

O my goodness

I had that exact same thing....... did you install a trans cooler?? What type of clampst are you using on the cooler?? You need to crank those clamps on really really hard.

I have that exact problem you are mentioning.....mine happened when i didn't have the clamp on tight enough, at WOT pressure goes way up and fluid would come out of the hose since the clamp couldn't hold it......I had fluid everywhere under my car.......it was still dripping months later.....i have yet to find if it was just those clamps or not.....since it went into storage.

I will know in a few months if that fixed the problem.

But if all your fittings are dry then i don't know what to tell ya.

Re: Trans leaking

Thanks Jason, I have had that cooler on for like 4+ years man it has never leaked before. I really dont want to drive it because I have no cash to rebuild this trans so I do not want to risk it. All my fittings seems dry though, thats what perplexes me about this.

Re: Trans leaking

The ATF seems to be puddles up on the radiator suport.
