Whats a good transmission? and Where can i buy it?
Well in my last post entitled "Weird Problem with the Z....getting worse" i got hope that my problem was a bad coil or opti but it turns out i need a new transmission
.........i need to know whats a REAL good one with a REALLY good waranty? I was looking at the "Evil" trans from ls1speed.com are those any good?

www.rosslertrans.com they build all the race transmission's and are stronger than they will even tell you there many 4,5 and 6 second cars in 1/4 @ over 220 mph running there transmissions they built mine

i have the same car as you (ss hood and all) and also live in chicago..i just replaced my tranny for the 3rd time...these 4L60E's need to be built stronger so look into the 4L65E and look no further..take my word for it..its a direct swap but beefed up internals.

Sorry but there is only one tranny to consider and it's here:

They call it the 4L70 but it is a 2004R super strong and good for over 700HP.
It has near perfect gear ratios.
