1987 Monte Carlo SS AerocoupeFor sale
I hate to do it, but I need to sell my 1987 Chevy Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe. It just isn't "baby-friendly", and we already have ONE performance car. I will take $5500 from the first person that shows up with cash in hand. Details about the car:
1987 Chevy Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe (fastback model
solid white with burgundy interior
PS, PW, PL, tilt, cruise
86,000 original miles
GM Goodwrench 350 HO/350 hp crate motor, installed 12,000 miles ago
New Edelbrock 1460 650 cfm carb
New Corvette HEI distributor
Edelbrock TES headers
Edelbrock Performer RPM intake
Taylor 8.8mm SpiroPro plug wires and new ACDelco pugs (200 miles ago)
Flexalite fan
Flowmaster cat-back exhaust
Automatic trans.
T-Tops
JVC flip-face CD stereo with remote
16x8 gold ARE wheels, with 245/50/ZR16 tires, plenty of life left
Hotchkis lowering springs on all 4 corners
Gabriel shocks (replaced 15,000 miles ago)
The car was originally purchased in 1987, and kept in the South until 1993, when it was bought and taken to Pennsylvania. That buyer sold it to his brother, who I bought it from. Solid body, only has a FEW minor SURFACE rust spots, nothing that is not easily repairable. Needs to have the driver's door re-hung, and new door window seals put in, and the doors will be almsot like new. Interior is FANTASTIC- no rips, stains, or tears. no cracks in the dash, but there is a SMALL split in the piece above the HVAC/radio pod. All gauges work, all acessories work. I have the cruise control disconnected right now, while I have been playing with the trans. shift points. This car books for $5500, and that doesn't take into account the recent GM crate motor or other add-ons that have been done. I would consider trades for a lowered V-8 Blazer of any year, a Honda Accord any year, or a Toyota Extended cab 4X4 pickup any year. I have pics if anyone would like to see them, just e-mail me. thanks!!!!!
