I have a 95 Z-28 355 jasper crate engine,bbk headers,moroso cold air,flowmaster 3in.Will a air foil for $66 from Jegs make any difference in air flow to throttle body?Thanks

 

Depends on who you ask..after you spend $66 your mind will tell you that it made a difference.

Honestly I don't think they that much difference- certainly not the 10hp that a lot of places advertise...

 

Why is this question in forced induction? Are you going F.I.? If so, an airfoil is basically useless IMO. If yer N.A., well,.......id still have to say it MIGHT help a little. I would save the money and put it elsewhere, like getting a used set of roller rockers.

 

couple ponies on stock engine. Ebay makes some knockoffs and they are pretty close. Check ebay first

 

Thanks Guys I am new to fixing up engines,mine was set up when I bought it.

 

My gut feeling is that it might be of some, small value. But I have no data either way.

I have dynoed a few and it seemed like the stock engines made a couple but the big motors made no diff. I would have thought the more airflow going through would need to be smoother but no Difference. The throttle body spacers always made less horsepower on everycombo. I have never seen a good one.
