Anyone have any pics of Mondo Install?
I'm trying to figure out the best place to mount my mondo valve? My location is in front of the passenger wheel well. I know procharger mounts their bypasses 90 degrees from the airflow. I wish I could find a 3 inch 45 degree bend that has a cast 2" port. Ebay has some with a 1.5" port but no 2 inch.

I am at school right now but I will post a Few pics later when I get home.
Thats the same Bypass valve I will be running as well.
On a side note how do you like that 224/232 113 cam?? Does it idle well, and what type of numbers or times does your combo do?

Heres one with a FMIC (not a Vortech Mondo bypass, but you get the picture)

And Here is one with the stock Location with the Twins

As long as its before the MAF sensor you are fine.

The cam I have has alot of lift for a daily driver. I get very mild surging between 1800 and 2200 light throttle. It pulls hard from 2500 to 6500 and would continue to pull if I let it. Idle is excellent no complaints 14" of vacuum. Low rpm torque is real strong. I have a road near my house that I can street tune on so I have not been to the dyno. My goal on this car was to make a 500hp blown daily driver on pump gas that will last 100,000 miles. I plan on buying a small block chevy nova to take to the track so this is just my daily driver.

Here is a pic of mine after I welded it to the pipe. I drove it tonight and it is coming into boost earlier than my old procharger proflow. Also it is much more responsive. It has a 1/4" hose running to it instead of the 1/8" hose going to the proflow. I should have a chance to wind it up tomorrow.

This Mondo valve is great for driving around town. It seals earlier at approximately 4" of vacuum. The old proflow did not seal until about 1 psi of boost. This is a worthwhile upgrade just for the fact the car is so much more responsive and fun to drive. I didn't pick up any boost it just happens earlier.
The mondo venting to atmosphere is too loud in my opinion. Its almost annoying and it interferes with the quality of the stereo. I made a silencer from pvc pipe and fiberglass. It reduces the noise to where it is inaudible even if your standing right next to it and only weighed about 2 lbs.

Ya I know what you mean by it being loud, Louder than the charger itself in my opnion from what I have seen and heard.
Do you care to elaborate a little on how you did this, and why the PCV pipe quiets the Byass off? Whats on the other end of the Pcv pipe, still venting to the air I persume?

Re: Anyone have any pics of Mondo Install?
Its the vortech aluminum flange from summit. I had to fabricate the 2" connector tube. I just took some leftover 3" pipe and cut it down to 2" with a sawzall. Tig welding was not as pretty as I would have liked but the pipes had some kind of clearcoat on them that kind of got messy.
If I did it over again I would get the pipes bead rolled instead of welded pipe ends to keep the hoses from popping off. I couldn't find anyone with a bead roller and since its my daily driver I didn't want to mail it to anyone.
