Anyone running ysi on t-trim kit bracketry only...no BB hub?

Hey guys,
well I just got off the phone with vortech and it appears that my t-trim is F-ed in the A...They didnt reccomend rebuilding it, so anyhow, now it looks like ill either be spending 2340 on another t-trim or else 2620 on a ysi, why not go bigger huh?

that brings me to my next question, I am wondering how dangerous itd be for me to run the ysi on my motor...it is built mechanically to handle it...callies dragonslayer crank, compstar rods, and diamond pistons...BUT, i am using the lt1 hub and the dragonslayer is single keyed, plus id be bolting it into the bracketry from the t-trim....

How crazy am I to want to run about 15-18 psi off of a ysi on this setup? i just dont want to rip my ati balancer off the front of an expensive *** crank like the slayer

YSI will NOT fit the T-trim bracket with out major mods...and if you get it to fit the braket will flex...

give Z8 an email and ask him for his brackets......

the YSi is not just a bolt on...

Here is mine on the stand. It is in now(not running yet) and all seems to be ok.I have teh ati hub that is dual keyed and a whole lot thicker wall that the stock replacement. You have to bore the timimg cover and it comes with a new seal. If you need or want more pics or info just let me know. I have a couple extra sets of pulleys if anyone needs them.

Does ATI have a big block hub that is single keyed? I know my crank is only single keyed and im not going to go through the hassle of pulling it.

I would however upgrade the front bracket, pullies, and toss on the ysi if i had to

The big block hub that Lonnie sells only has a single key.

Edit: Oops. I forgot it had two keyways. I only used one key.

Actually they are double keyed, but you do not have to use both of them.

Nice setup, it looks like you have more distance away from the end of your crank w/all the pullies and spacers than I do w/my D1SC kit. If your stuff stays on then mine should be okay!! Nice looking motor!

either take off the bracket from Vortech for the S-trim or T-trim and fab another or get another and bolt them up using longer bolts.
could it be that easy??? probably not.
