Simple little poll. I've been going back and forth so many times my head hurts. I need a final answer so i can tell VRE what i want.

VRE said to go w/ 3.750 stroke w/ min overbore
I've heard many times the 3.480 stroke will yield a thicker piston thus safer for a FI car with pump gas...

(MIGHT try and shoot for 800-900rwhp in a few years)

 

talk to them about my setup. the driveability is second to none. Ive driven it 30 miles each way to work for weeks at a time sitting in traffic, freeway, you name it.

 

What do you have for a setup? Stroker? SCR? Cam? How much boost?

 

The rod length is going to be a factor in this also since it will affect pin location and crown thickness in the piston. I'm running a 3.75 stroke, 5.7 rods, JE Extreme Duty pistons, and only 10 over on the bore.
