I have a 95 camaro with 8psi procharger at at wot the car looses power @ 5000 rpm. What can it be? I have gone to 42# inj. and got rid of the fmu and the problem is still there.

 

What is your fuel pressure doing when it does this? What ignition are you running?

Maybe you are getting knock? Have you put it on a scan tool?

Try running some high octane gas and see if the problem goes away?

My fuel press. is 52psi when this happens and does not drop. I have changed my fuel press. reg., injectors to 42# and got rid of my fmu and the problem is still there. My car has a stock cam and heads and stock ignition with an MSD 6A. I have also raised my rev. limiter because I thought that may be the problem. I have a Datamaster log if anybody wants to check it out.

 

Are your plugs gapped correctly? You could be blowing out the spark...

 

is it holding boost? boost leak? weak bypass valve?

 

My plugs are gapped @.035. I do notice the boost drop when this happens, but boost goes up to about 5psi at 5000rpm then suddenly drops when it looses power but the rpms also drop.
