Car won't start after Powerdyne install
I finally finished putting on a 6# powerdyne on my 95 Z. I have 36# injectors with a 255 lph walboro intank fuel pump and a mail order tune. I backed it off the ramps and the car fired and ran for about 3 minutes, then died never to start again. I immediatly assumed lack of fuel pressure but when i tested the schrader valve on the back of the intake, it read 40 psi. Now i am at a loss. I am going to scan the PCM for codes this weekend to maybe give me a clue, but i was wondering if you guys might know what is going on. I thought it could be ignition because i installed a msd 6al but the car did start once and run......Thanks to anyone who can help me here.

Did any of your charger ducting blow or pop off and do you have it all tight? That will really mess up the works if your running your MAF sensor which i'm assuming you are. Car probably won't stay running then. Check all your connections around your coil? Thats assuming the powerdyne had ductwork that runs in that area like the Vortechs do. Everything else electrical plugged in? It's probably something pretty simple that your just overlooking.

If the MAF isn't reading air and the rest of the sensors are telling the computer the motor is running, it will switch to SD and run off the MAP sensor. It probably won't run well, but it will still run.
Check the basics, you know you have fuel, are you getting spark?

^What they said. Unplug it and see what it does.
It sounds like it is spark related though ... Pull a wire off, stick a screwdriver in it, and see if you can get it to arch ... Just dont zap yourself. If you never did it this way before, be careful lol.
Or you could stick a old plug you have laying around in it. But then thats one more thing you have to go look for ... or remove.
Good luck with it.
