Check this out please. DONT LAUGH

Re: Check this out please. DONT LAUGH
Even if you hooked 100 of them up in a row it wouldn't do anything. With two in a row, it can actually decrease your air flow, compared to just a single.
There's a reason you never see 2 fans in a row very often.

I think the 100CFM for the same blower from http://shop.torresen.com/shipsstore/...FLANGE%20MOUNT link is a good reason not to buy the same part claming 1200 cfm

To take full advantage of that blower you're gonna need one of these:

Don't forget, you will also need one of these.

Re: Check this out please. DONT LAUGH
it would be a nice idea if you could somehow control the RPM of those things, think of it this way:
if it had enough force to compress any air into your cyclinders, don't you think that when you close your throttle blades they would stay open since the thing runs at a constant speed at all times? I guess you can get a huge relay and wire it up so it only turns on at WOT, but they don't I don't think, so if they tell you that it will always be running, pushing all those pounds into the cyclinder, and there you are idling in traffic with your throttle blades closed and the stupid thing can't even open them up LOL
It would be a neat idea for big camed guys to help with reversion though I would think, if you could somehow tunnel an air intake so that at low RPM this thing is on at past 2k RPM it shuts off and the air intake has a flap on the side that opens up to by pass this thing and pull straight air throught hmm... I am sure it would help eliminate reversion in big cams and help push the air in at low RPM with big cammed LT1s, see noone thought of that! except you'd have to wire it in as follow:
up to 2500rpm part throttle its hair dryer mode, up to 2k RPM full throttle its hair dryer mode but by passes 500 rpm sooner if you're at WOT, I'm sure it could be thought of even better, any other time after those ranges depending on WOT/part throttle and those RPM figures a flap opens to a separate cold air system and dryer shuts off, the flap would be in place to prevent the hair dryer from pumping the air back out so it goes fully into the engine, don't laugh it may actually work LOL I'm sure one of those is more then enough to help keep the fuel/air in the cylinders and not come back out, but then I don't know, I doubt you need to make any pressure to prevent the cam effects, so maybe this thing flow 1200 CFM but dies once it builds 1 PSI of boost, but we don't need boost we just need to have it create a constant flow of air. The map values will change and so on but that will be regulated by the trottle blades in theory, its hard to tell and since its so cheap and easy to wire up with those values, say an MSD RPM switch coupled with a TPS switch you can achieve those on/off sequences and some trick piping with motor and flap will do, except now you have to use a screened MAF with say a plexy glass adaptor at MAF to see if a blade or part of the flap came off LOL, so might as well go ahead and try it.

Not sure if I should move this to the Lounge for the entertainment value or the Forced Induction forum.
Ok... I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and move it to the Forced Induction forum

This entire thread is funny as hell!! Probably won't give ANY performance improvement but if you have the extra money it would be worth the experiment to let others know what happens
The "Tornado" would do the same thing.(spinning thing that you put in the intake tube)
