Couple of teaser pics.....LONG build finally ending

For those not following along on ltxtech. My build is nearing completion.

It's all in, many MANY thanks to Jon @ LT1Boost for his support and help working out little bugs with my kit.

Shot showing turbo location, ect.

In addition to the motor and turbo kit, I'm using a JGS 50mm wastegate, JGS 50mm BOV, ebay low profile 12" fans as recommended by Jon (they fit the stock shroud with a little work), and am retaining A/C and Power Steering.

Running a dual vented breather tank PCV setup, one for each valve cover, and will be running the PCV to a short intake elbow on the turbo. It's a shame I've got to hide these allstar breather tanks.

Interior is going to be spartan. Just a small switch panel from Jim (Beer) for the Alky Control stuff, line lock, intercooler fan, and a Aeroforce dual gauge. My FAST XFI has an integrated wide band, and if I decided to get a gauge then it'll be the analog FAST gauge that's 2 5/8 that will fit the A/C Vent.

It's all pretty much together right now, just a few loose ends to tidy up. Hoping to start it up within a week tops. Going to do a lot of praying when that time comes. This is the fruits of a 3 year endeavour though (for this car at least, the motor was being built 4 years ago now).

Will keep this thread updated here.

Sean, congrats bro! You have worked hard on this car, and I am glad you are close to finishing! I apologize that it took a few revisions of the kit to get it where it needs to be.

Looks good. You need to get rid of that ABS module!

Negative. This is 100% street car that should turn some wicked times once dialed in. ALL accessories remain to include power steering, A/C, ABS, ect. The only stuff that has been deleted is the emissions stuff (EGR, AIR, AIR Pump).

Ordered the last of my parts today save for an intake elbow, and elbow and filter for the turbo. Anticipating a startup next week hopefully.

Don't need ABS to be legal, my damn ABS never worked anyway so the decision was an easy one for me lol. Freed up more room than you'd think and makes it incredibly easy to work on that side of the motor, but mainly I did it so I could run a 3.5" tube to my intercooler.

BTW, If you have a build thread I'd like to check it out.

Specs on the turbo? And I don't mean the "trim". Got wheel sizes and square centimeters of the exhaust housing?

Looks damn good.

Sean, looking good man. It's been a LONG road indeed for you w/ the TA. Glad you stayed w/ it. You'll need some cleanex the 1st time you start her. LOL. Can't wait to see and hear the initial start, you are gonna do a vid, right?

Oh, and AC is for wusses! LOL

Ha! No. MUST have A/C. Ask Call911 about the GM Nats at Carlisle back in 2005 or 2006.......He sweated his sack off on the highway in his car while I was nice and comfy. A/C is a great thing.

Besides, I want to take a full weight drive it to the track and drive it home car and have all creature comforts and hopefully make some pretty swift passes in the process.

Not having A/C makes the car simply horrible to live with. What good is a cool car if you never want to drive it?
