Something also weird with those lift numbers. Seems like you have weak springs or at least could use some 1.7 rr.

Honestly, i dont see those as bad numbers. You have very low compression running a moderate amount of boost.

My 5.3 that has 9.4ish to one with ten lbs was just about 500rwhp.

You have moderate flowing heads, real low compression, and not that much boost. My 5.3 took 16.5 psi (completely stock) without a hiccup. THats a stock junkyard motor with 9.4 to 1 compression.


To sum up what you need to do... give it more boost and timing. Your not even hardly beating on that engine at all. But the cam is no where near boost friendly, though i do not think this is the problem.

Thank all you guys for your time and help,i,am going to try to get my dyno sheet on this board but will have to get some help from some one,not to computer smart.The headers are mac shorty with primarys 1-5/8.
Rockers arms are promags wih 1.6 on int. and 1.52 on ex.
I,AM going to try every thing you guys advised to me,but first i got to put in my spec stage3+ clutch and fidanza alum. flywheel and long tube headers,bigger air filter and smaller pulley,i think it has a 3.70 on it now have to check to be sure.If it dosn,t make power then heads and cam.
I have so many spare parts for 94to95 camaro it,s getting stupit.
How would weak valve springs act like in the upper end anyone know.
you guys been great, that why i like this board.
