i foudn a kit ready to go for lt1 maro's and i was thinkin about that rather than supercharger (no one has turbo on a maro around here if any thing a s/c most not even that) turbo and heads/cam put a lt1 up there in the low 11's high 10s?

Turbo kits on lt1 motors are on the board, but there arent many.
Either way on a stock lt1, I wouldnt run more then 6-7psi of intercooled boost. You may get 10k out of the motor. You may not.The stock pistons and compression ratio are just too high. Also even with 6psi of boost, your clutch should be in top shape, and the hardest part will be traction and driver skill to get good times. If you found one and the price is good, go for it. Do a search for more info.
And on your comment, BOV's are a tricky thing. Depending on where your MAF is, you may want to recirculate the boost. Example - if you maf meters the air before it hits the turbo, and then you were to release the BOV, you'd run really rich while it was open. Not always the best thing in the world. You could get some nasty backfires. So in that instance, you re-circulate the boost to before the turbo, but after the maf. Different brands of BOV's are louder. XS type RFL makes one that's pretty sickly loud. RFL = Really ****in Loud.

well when i put a turbo on im gion to do a complete engine rebuild, i want about 8.5 to 1 or 9 to 1 compresson? also wonderin...very ...curius on the whole recirculating, bc if it runs rich it can mess ur motor up right? so ...u'd run ur blow off valve back into your intake? or...like to no more about this if thats possible, thanks for info, glenn

IDK about this, someone check into it, but I know some DSM guys were trying to use C5 MAF sensors because they could be calibrated to meter boosted air. That AND having the air temp sensor after the maf would allow an easier time tuning and no rich between shifts. Can our maf's read pressured air? I personally dont know...
