Idle issues with this cam and a blower?

Idle issues with this cam and a blower?
I'm toying with the idea of a blower in the near future. I'm pretty much to that point where I either have to do a stroker or a blower. And I think that I'd rather do a blower at this point. I just think it would be more fun.
Anyways, right now I have a TPIS ZZ409 cam in my car.
The specs are:
226/226; .520/.520; 112 LSA
I know a 114 LSA is a better choice when going with a blower, but is it really a big deal with a 6 speed? Would there be issues with idle quality? Has anyone else ran a blower with a 112 LSA cam? How well did it run? My car is by no means a daily driver. Just a car that I have fun with. But I would like to be able to drive it in traffic without worries, which I can do now without a problem. My plan is to go with a ATI Procharger P600B or P-1SC.
Thanks for any help.

You wont have any problems running that cam with a blower. Some will say that you won't get optimal power with that lsa, others will argue that 112 is optimal, either way it's not a huge difference. I know a guy locally that had a custom cam ground for his blower motor and the company he went with recommended a 112 lsa for his combination, he dynoed 597 to the tires and ran high 10's on 12 psi.

The idle will not change due to the blower.
My old combo I used a hotcam, it had a 112 lsa and worked well.
This new cam I have, the comp cams 224/236 ground on 114 lsa, I haven't hooked up the blower yet and love it to death. It revs like no tomorrow and great idle. The sound is meaner than the hotcam, but seems to idle a little smoother even though I lost about 2" Hg at idle (The cc 224/236 cam idles at 14" Hg, the hotcam was 16" at best).

Re: Idle issues with this cam and a blower?
I usually don't run anything less than 114 lsa. But now I am running 231/ 240 duration blower cam from cam motion with 114 lsa and about 8.2 degrees overlap. The gm pcm does not like much valve timing overlap, I think LT1 edit V2.2 is a great tool. I have always been tuning for idle, and, I have had some problems.
