MAF location and boost.

I am planing on going with a supercharger when i rebuild my engine in a year or so. Looking at all the kits and pics in magizine go me wondering where the MAF goes in the system. Is it between the filter and the blower or between the blower and the TB?
Ifs its between the filter and the blower can you run a atmopheric blow off valve or would it have to be vented back into the intake tube. Thanks.

I think all the kits place the MAF before the head unit. When a surge valve is included, it vents back to the intake side of the head unit after the MAF so as not to lose metered air.

I located my MAF to the pressure side and vented the surge valve to atmosphere. It works fine. Many people on here have done the same thing.
