Mechanical problem preventing my car from making boost...

rob brings up a good point, i forgot you had an FMIC setup...thats a decent amount of extra piping...i know the water/air tmic vortech makes sees like .5-1psi pressure drop...so that could possibly be your problem. toss another pulley on it and see if you get boost again.

Wonder how he could have made boost the first time he ran it with the FMIC then?

That's what I'm thinking. Either way, the core would have to be the most inefficient core ever made to lose 6# of boost.

disconnect the intercooler at the inlet and outlet and run a hard tube between the two hoses and see if you get boost. That will help rule out the intercooler and might show up any pressure leaks...
