More questions regarding Crankcase pressure?

If you are concerned w/ the blower sucking oil, why not use the seperator between the pcv instead of capping the end under the tb?
I'm using the oil/seperator and not running it to the blower as I didn't want the oil on there. See the 1st page of this thread to see what oil seperator I'm using. The VC I'm just using breathers (3) but decided to switch and run -10 off of each VC to a vented catch can. I can deal w/ the oil smell but not oil over the engine bay.

There are two general choices:
---just vent the crankcase to atmosphere (no vacuum, almost).
This isn't the best for longevity because it doesn't clean corrosives out of the oil as much, but it is the easiest. This is all cars had until the early 60's.
---put vacuum on the crankcase
This is better but harder to do. To have vacuum on the crankcase under boost you have to either put lines from the valve covers to the low pressure side of the supercharger, to the exhaust, or to a vacuum pump.

You mean pull through the PCV port instead of through the valve covers? Yea, that would be just as well I guess. You would have to remove the PCV valve.
I was just going to insert a checkvalve and a oil/air seperator with a Filter on it, and run it to the suckside of the blower.

Why would you have to remove the valve? Just trying to understand the reasoning behind it in what TA/Kid is trying to do. I'd think he'd definitely might see an increase in vacuum/better ring seal running it off the suck side of the blower too.

believe someone above mentioned that when he did it this way the blower and the intercooler was completely covered with oil after a few hundred miles.
