Need header advice, keep my RKSport mids or go to Pacesetter LT's?
Hey guys I have a question for you. I am getting my car back on the road after sitting for a while. I had a son, started remodeling my house, etc., etc.
So now I have a pile of parts that got put on the back burner. I am fixing a few small things and then putting headers on. The car is stock with minor bolt-ons on the motor but full drivetrain (street twin, 12-bolt, lots of spohn suspension, etc.). I am going to see how long the motor lasts on about 6psi with my vortech. I can't decide whether to sell my brand new headers and buy LT's or keep my mids. A few years ago I bought the mids because my car is lowered, but it seems like there aren't to many problems with lowered cars and LT's on here. That said, I am not sure if I will even notice much difference between the two style headers with boost.
Any input/opinions/experience?

I had the RK Sport mids for 10 years. If I added up the expenses on replacing burned spark plug wires, burned wires on my harness, starter, etc, I could be a rich guy. I had so many problems with those headers due to their arrangement. I just swapped to PaceSetter LT's and couldn't be more pleased. My car is lowered, and they don't hang low enough to be scrapped by anything. They open up the sides of the motor so much more and seem to run much cooler (they also sound better). I just got my car dyno tuned this week, but the car hasn't seen the street yet. I would recommend the Pace Setters for sure!!

Thanks for the replies guys. I do have one question. I haven't been on the board for a while what does "LPP" stand for. I am going to assume it is a LT header brand name, I am just not familiar with it. How do they stack up to pacesetter?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

If I remember my internet Fbody history correctly they bought the rights to the ebay headers; made some changes to them and now sell them. They're supposed to be pretty good but I haven't seen any in person so don't hold me to that.
