The #16214681 LT4 module is just a different filter for the output of the knock sensor that the GM engineers designed for the LT4 engine version with it's roller rockers and less restrictive exhaust. It takes into account the effect that roller rockers contribute/transmit to what the knock sensor (contact mic) picks up. It was $28.75 through Jason Cromer ... almost 5 years ago(!)
