Depending on the design of the kit and the motor setup, you should be able to hit 750-800rwhp with a TC78... should be enough to trap 145mph in the 1/4mph. I won't quote ET because that is just a function of traction, being able to launch with boost, lots of variables.

Depending on the design of the kit and the motor setup, a PT88 setup is gonna be able to support 900-1000rwhp... be a little laggier, but will still rip. Should support low 150's mph.

I think you will be very happry with a TC76 or TC78... or better yet a T76GTS. As far as T76's are concerned:

383ci + T76 = fast spool and lots of power.
355ci + T76 = slightly slower spool and more power (ability to run more boost).

 

I think I'm gonna for sure build a 383 stroker so I don't regret not building the bigger cubes later on and start out with a tc78 turbo and with the bigger cubes already there "if" I decide to upgrade I can step up to a t88 which should be plenty to acomplish any goals for a weekend car would u fellas agree or have holes in that idea as well like my others lol

 

Sounds like a good idea to me.

 

if you dont mind a little slower spool, go with a borg warner s475. its bigger, heavier, slower spool, but will make the same power as the tc78 and is 1/2 the price.

Fast, Reliable, Cheap...pick two.
