Possible interest in a DIY starter turbo kit GP?

But none of them are affordable
The only one thats remotely affordable is Rob over at Modular Turbo, and his arent available yet. He still wants i think 3k for just hotside. KYTP wants 3700 including an intercooler.
You could make a killing by making them and underselling those two

This kit pictured below is the first kit (discounted). It was the TT race kit that deleted ABS that I built 1.5 yrs ago. I had to dent the driver's log to clear the ABS block, and used some of the kit to make this single setup. Since it modified pieced together kit, it is discounted at $750 while the remaining two kits (for a total of the first 3) will be $1000 each. The new design won't have the dent, and the merge will be more vertical (upswept) versus the horizontal merge shown here. Make no mistake, this one shown will make killer power.

I know this is a few months old, but I'm actually interested in this. I like the idea and placement. My idea though would be to have the turbo a little higher on the driver's side and the turbo would be mounted so the fresh air would come from the CAI location, the DP would go across the front of the motor out down the passenger side like in your first post.
Also I will only be running an Alt on the lower passenger side using a Madman bracket. I'm not sure how that effects any of your routing.

Cool, I'll e-mail you, I've already been in contact with you though. My engine bay is empty (no HVAC, ABS, etc.) and I'm running a BMR SBC/BBC k-member, not the LT1 style. I'll take some pics for you once I get everything back in the car.
