Post your front mount pics, WITH BUMPER INSTALLED

I'm curious to see how you guys are mounting your fronts mounts. And how you are getting the air to the front mounts.

Specifically the early 4th gen camaro guys. Are you cutting out the black area between the fog lights? can you put a grill there? Does this make the lower part of the bumer flimsy.

I hacked the bumper support behind the grill.

On those bar grills, where does it mount to on the bumper? I will most likely cut the center of the bumper out and get one of these grills and paint it black. Just want to make sure I'll have somewhere to attach it.

Its just a small one, but this should give you an idea- I molded in the front around the intercooler itself, and no- it didn't make the bottom flimsy-

It sticks on with double sided tape about an inch to either side of the cutout.

Here's a picture of "work in progress" I haven't trimed the middle of the front end cover, but I plan on removing the center portion and have a mesh style grille to install in the opening.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad it's an easy install.

Is that a custom job, or a preassembled kit?

I've been contemplating building my own, but I might just go with this kit to save some fabrication time.

I spent 150$ on the intercooler (31x28x4) and ~250$ on pipes, hoses, t-clamps.

Yeah, I know it can be done for alot less. I'm just wondering if its worth the fabrication time and hassle to do it myself instead of just buying a kit.

I fabricated the parts to make this work. I looked into some pre-fabbed kits, but they just weren't big enough for my liking, not to mention the fact that I really didn't like the routing of the kits. The cost of the intercooler was kind of pricey, due to its size, but as mentioned in some of the other posts, the tubing, bends, t-clamps etc, are reasonably priced. There are some good deals to be had on intercoolers on E-bay if you look around enough though.
