Procharger In 2000 Ss
A few days ago a friend of mine told me that I should just put a procharger in my 2000 SS. I thought that was a good idea but then realized that there must be more to it than just installing a procharger. My question is, what must i put into my SS if I install a procharger. Any thoughts?

Re: Procharger In 2000 Ss
Im not sure what you have already done, but this is what i am doing in preperation for the ProCharger P-1SC @ 5psi.
New clutch and upgraded hydrolics if yours is a stick (McLeod twin Disc). Definatly a 12 bolt or 9" rear, (Moser) but keep the gear ration down or you'll just be spining tires (>3:73) Suspension upgrade (Hotchkis & Eibach) to keep the wheels on the ground. Headers, high flow cats, cat back exhaust (SLP).
The exhaust is optional, but will help for performance. The others are for strenght, and to keep the car drivable.
