Granted he had a YSi trim (a bit more CFM than my maxed out D1SC), but he was running smaller ported LT1 heads with 2.00/1.56 valves, 218/224 115lsa Comp cam, whereas I have AFR 180 heads, CNC’d by TPIS (260 @ 550 lift), and a monster 244/254 .050 570/570 114 LSA cam.

I am not sure what the difference would be in the end, but up top he gained right where I would like my gain.
That's definitely interesting data. I would have never thought to see a gain like that on such a mild setup.

While your logic makes sense to me that there is only so much the heads will flow, I can't deny roguedrivers gains either.

Right now I am seriously leaning towards doing this. I am not anticipating those kinds of gains, but our setups are not that far off pushing 15#'s of boost through small heads.

Either way I won't be doing anything until next year, and I would still like to collect more info, and opinions until then, so if you, or anyone else has any more inputs, they are welcome.

The only thing to keep in mind is his blower puts out more volumetric flow then yours does @ the same boost level (restriction level). By minimizing the restriction, the blower with more flow will see bigger gains. How much more? I don't know, but I would be surprised if you gained that much.

You will gain something, but how much?

Like I said, I am not anticipating gaining 80 RWTQ and almost 40 RWHP like him, as I understand his setup is different. But with the similar setup that I have, I would imagine that my results shouldn't vary too far off.

Even if I gained 20 RWHP and 40 RWTQ (half of what he gained), I would be happy.
