where is the IC?

 

I am starting with my 3.5" pulley and 7.5" crank.This should give me about 6-7psi. I have water/meth stage II injection ported right into the blower inlet. No, the is no room for an intercooler but I really don't think it will make any difference with using water/meth. I am using a MAF controlled water injection. My CR somewhere around 10.3:1...higher than I would like but that will be changed once this initial testing is done. My Piston's are Forged Speed Pros and my rods are also forged with ARP bolts, Crank is nodular iron running in two bolt mains clevite77 bearings complete. My heads are LT1 ported. My dyno numbers before this blower installation and proper tune was 356rwhp/360rwtq. I am planning for a Golens shortblock with 9.1:1 and then run my 2.9" pulley.I really don't want to kill this bottom end but it should last with 7psi and wate/meth and carefull timing calibration.

That looks like a modified jaguar supercharger, which is exactly what I'm using on my project (gen 1 sbc), just I'm making no effort to keep the thing hidden! It's great to see someone put something piecing something together that looks just as great as the kits made for other engines

 

Thanks, Yes, this is a Jag M112 that I modified. It is very compact once you get rid of the mounting tabs.

 

Wow, that looks amazing. I would love to have one under the hood of my LT1. Whats the ballpark on how much it cost to get this done?

 

This is a prototype that I have made myself including manifold design, fuel rail, throttle body transition duct and modifying a Jag M112 case and drive to work for my application. I really can't calculate the cost for this unit not to mention it would scare me; however I am designing a new version using a Whipple W140ax and will have a cast manifold which should be affordable similar to other kits. Before I continue with the new design, I want to complete testing on this unit to prove the design. I will then put a time frame on availability of this kit.
