Taking apart my D1 Procharger

Taking apart my D1 Procharger
I started taking apart my D1 procharger to replace the output shaft seal, but am having a lot of problems trying to press the output shaft and the impeller apart. Anyone have any tips for doing this?
I have already removed the input shaft, pulley, etc, and the bolt that holds the impeller onto the output shaft. I centered the press using a dowl on the impeller side of the output shaft and started pressing down, but it only moved around 1/16 of an inch and stopped. I applied heat to the entire unit, but no change.
I found a disassembly guide for a Vortech over at Corral.net, but nothing in there seems to be helping me.
Thanks,
Sean

look at www.superchargerhelp.com

I did look there. I flipped through all D1 pages in a few minutes and there was nothing about rebuilding them except for people who sent them into Procharger.
I got it apart yesterday by heating up the impeller a bit more than I originally did. It came out with a good amount of pressure. I am getting the seals from superchargerrebuilds.com.
Anyone interested in doing this themselves, there is a great tutorial on rebuilding a P1SC on this site, which uses the Vortech instructions from corral.net .

The biggest difference I see is that the D1 has a matched set of angular thrust bearings and an additional bearing on the impeller shaft for a total of 3 high-speed bearings, compared to the Vortech's that I have seen, only having 2 high-speed bearings.
Seals will be here in a few days and it's going back together. Supercharger rebuilds also has a better bearing than what the D1 comes stock with so you can spin it faster if you want, I suppose.
