Turbo keeping ram air?

Turbo keeping ram air?
Anybody ever fabricate a lower tray for the ram air intake that would feed sideways into the turbo intake?
I will eventually be going turbo with this car, but I've never seen a turbo setup that retains the ram air intake. Have I just not come across one or am I correct to say I'd be the first? (the latter seems HIGHLY unlikely)
I could easily make one out of fiberglass... Only thing I could think that would cause an issue is the actual routing to the turbo intake and the elbow still needed into the intake manifold... but I believe these are both doable.

I would think that if you couldn't figure anything out using the hood, you could ditch a foglight or 2 and make that a ram air of sorts. If you could hook up to the ram air hood, that would really be sweet, but I think that it would be a tight fit under there.

Still a restriction just because of the size of the holes in the hood. Trust me... I've looked into it.
Even with a custom box and debaffled hood you're still going to choke the airflow through the hood openings.
