What about the fans? It looks like there is no room for them. How did it run temperature wise?

Thanks,

Jerry

I ran two really really cheap 10" fans on the front of the radiator and it kept is nice and cool. Even after havin it to the wood (in boost) for a good run, I never would make it over 200 degrees. I infact couldn't get it over 200 no matter how much i flogged on it.

Well at one point I had a support fron the oil fill bracket hole on the turbo up the the alternator bracket. I didn't like it and threw it away (looked ugly). Was gunna try a bracket from the t4 flang up to the waterpump to see how that looked.

So currently I have no bracket. Ran that way for about one weekend night (ls1 slaughter... lol).

I believe you would have to stand the radiator vertical for this kit to fit.

Yup. I dont think there is any other way you could get it to fit. Stock rad needs to go.

I knew you would have to make the radiator vertical but I was curious about the fans. Could you not put the fans on the vertical radiator (if you had room)?

you put the fans in front of the radiator, have to switch to a pusher style fan.

I understand you have to with his kit, but I was wondering in general...if you stand the radiator up would you have to use pusher fans? Internet comunicating at it's finest!

Just depends on a lot. I could have fit one puller fan with this kit and how I cut my radiator support up.

Depends on how you build the crossover, where you put the turbo, how exactly you move the radiator (possibilitys are endless).

If you did your rad reloacation different than mine, you could fit puller fans with this kit.. But the pushers work better than my factory setup did.

Bump! Someone make an offer!

Also have turbo hot parts for 99+ Gm trucks
with the 4.8/5.3/6.0. They are VERY nice.
Asking the same as I am for the lt1 parts.
