Well, I am moving august 15th so I am hoping by then.

the blue things are lifter valley vents, they prevent oil from dripping on the cam, and robbing HP, or so they say who knows if the actually work

Thanks

Assembling the motor is my favorite part of a car project! Nice looking engine, from the parts you listed, you'll be ready to pack some serious ponies through it

Actually, you'd like to have oil 'dripping' on the cam/lifters. It's what the oil drips on, underneath the cam, that is to be concerned with.

Looks like a great start!

Been there, done that. It seems like everytime I'm ready to do something, I need more bolts/hoses/etc . The little stuff can be aggravating, but the end result sure will be worth it.

After pulling everything back out and preping for paint.

I'm getting excited, I'm sure there is a ton of small stuff i have forgotten, but hopfully I can have this thing close to being done in the next few weeks.
