Twin turbo/single turbo?

Alright heres the deal. I have a 96 lt1 with intake, chip, and slp full exhaut. Want to build a custom turbo setup but dont know what size turbos to use. Please tell me your input on what you think would be sufficient for a streetable car in the 400-500 hp range. Please PM me yur opinions.

DEFINITELY do NOT even think about having to use twin turbo's for the 400-500 horsepower range. Pretty much any single turbo or an STS rear-mount can get you into this range.....

I wouldn't go through the hassle of fabrication a custom kit for that power range.Uf you want a turbo I would go with either PTK kit, or STS rear mount. If forced induction is your only real sticking point I would just get a Procharger kit and be done. That way it is just plug and play without all the fabrication head ache.

Personally, I don't care for the STS rear turbo setup. IMO, the best turbo setup's out there for any car is a nice big single front mounted turbo.

Since your goals for power aren't that high, I wouldn't even hassel with a turbo setup, which is more complex than a 'bolt-on' supercharger setup. With 450-500 in mine, I would go for a P600B or P1SC procharger setup with a dual intercooler.

Yeah just spend that money on a good supercharger. It will def get you over the 400 range and with the right tune and bolt ons maybe a baby cam you could push it to 500 on the stock block. Plus they sound a lot better than turbo's at idle(blow off is cool on a turbo)
