wastegate question

so, i found a tial 38mm BOV BNIB for a good deal (160) w/ a 10PSI spring
I think its a good deal since their 275ish from retailers.

My question is....is it big enough for me?
MP T70 w/ .96 A/R
355
218/230 cam
stock heads
58mm TB

it is fine for you. You have small cubes and small heads. What boost do you want to run?

make sure you test the wastegate before you go boosting away, those tial knockoffs have been known to have underrated springs...(8 psi advertised but setup will still make 10-12 psi)

Knock offs or real ones, I agree, definitely always watch the gauge that first time! I have seen real ones with the wrong springs, and usually the knockoffs have the wrong springs most of the time.

On the 50mm the smallest spring is 9lbs i think I got the 44mm so I can use tial 44mm springs.

well, placed a bid on a 44MM xo2 WG
Ends tomorrow, no since in spending the extra $10 on buy it now.
