Went to Dyno today, # seem high for stock heads and cam
Ya, just got back from the dyno and did 3 pulls with a wideband and had higher than expected numbers. Here we go stock heads and cam, 1.6 rr, asm headers and borla cat back with a 1/2 hole in the block off plate. 8# 600pb twin high flow IC. Done on a superflow dyno. Peak HP at 5900rpm 438.8 and peak TQ at 4900rpm was 424.8. Before I get to excited does that seem alittle high for stock heads and cam? From what I have been seeing it is generally around 400hp.It ran rich between 3300-5600 rpm, and just a hair lean at 5900 up. I know I am just in the beginning stages. I will post the sheets when I scan them in work tommorrow. Thanks for any input......John.

Not sure about a superflow but I put down the numbers in my sig with about the same setup as you. That was on a Mustang dyno. I peaked HP at 5500 and TQ at 4500. Interested in a dyno chart if you can post.

EDIT: Auto or M6..? The M6 usually dyno a little higher.

Stock bottom end, stock compression, heads and cam. The only thing that I changed was crane's 1.6rr with stock springs. It was also through a M6.
