I was running 17psi safely through my T-trim. When I first got the car with a different pulley, the blower was pushing 21psi.

On a side note: A blower witout an intercooler will make more boost than a blower with an intercooler.

How much power do you want to make? Seems that everyone gets hyped out boost numbers. I think a T-trim or a D1SC would be a good choice for a head unit.

My p600b was maxed out at 12#s. Then I got the D1 and with a 4in pulley it was pushing 15#s. When I get the car back going im dropping the pulley down to a 3.25 or 3.5(as low as I can) to see how much boost that thing can really push.

We have a T-trim on my friends 383, its maxed out pushing 13-14#s.

Not a very bright idea considering when your blower blows up it will take your engine out with it. Take a moment and think about it. If the P600b encounters bearing failure it will circulate metal shavings back into the motor. Probably not a good idea in my opinion.

The P600 will put out 24psi but, it would probably be on a 4 cylinder engine... 12psi is about tops for a 350ci. Don't put more than a 12lb pulley on the P600 or you will break it. A D1 should get you to 15psi and maybe a hair more... 20psi+ and you probably need a F1. Don't know much on Vortech sizes

Yes they will. Also there was a lot of intake restriction causing the high pressures.

I agree, a T-trim or a D1 would be good blowers. They can both produce a lot of power and still work well on the street. Ditto on the boost numbers. I'd rather make the blower max out at a lower psi than a higher one. It's all about pushing a given amount of air into the engine, psi is just how hard it has to push to get that air in there.

If you mess the bearings inside the blower the metal shavings from the blower will circulate into the engine. That is probably the main reason I would not push a P600b.

i got the 2.65 pulley which at 6000 rpms at the motor... puts it under its max rated speed of 60000 rpms...hopefully it holds up...dont see why it shouldnt..but if it does fail..i'll be looking at other options..etc

before i bought it this car made 594 at the wheels. im thinking it should be right around 700 at the wheels right now on 92. ive got a few more things to do on the car and then ill get it on a dyno hopefully in a couple weeks to see what its doing.

the other night i ran a 130lb guy on a 01 GSX-R 1000 with a pipe, filter, and computer from a 50mph roll and walked on him 5 straight times so i guess it must be running decent
