Birdie2000 and Chevyguy3, what pullies are you using to get 17 psi from a T-trim?

I'm at 6.66/2.75 and am seeing 13 psi on an intercooled 383 with AFR 210's and 224/236 cam.

to be honest i dont know whats on there right now, havent gotten around to measuring them yet but i plan to do that tomarrow. i made the jump from 11 to 17psi just by building my own intake on the inlet side of the blower as well as between the aftercooler and throttle body, putting on a bigger filter, and moving the MAF to the pressure side and porting it at the same time. at the same time i removed the 2 cats that were on the car (one of them well over half clogged, the other ~1/3 clogged) so that probably dropped the boost 1lb or so i would guess from where it would have otherwise ended up. my car for now just has LT1 heads with a light port job and bigger valves, so with the same pulley combo im sure your heads would build a couple lbs less boost than my motor

Same pullies as you Mike, 6.66 and 2.75. It was on a 355 with lightly ported bare casting AFR 195's (around 185cc, flowed about 243 on the intake side). Also had a 222/226 .544/.544 114lsa cam, 52mm throttle body, and the boost was NOT intercooled. Also found out that the intake gaskets were improperly installed, so they were covering the ports by about 1/4". The blower was making the boost, but it shouldn't have had to.

sorry for the late reply. 8" crank pulley, 3.33" blower pulley, so looks like i am spinning the blower slightly slower than you engineermike. making some more changes on the induction before and after the blower again right now among other things. ill post up if they make any difference in the boost #s. also i switched to a Autometer boost gauge this week since i didnt trust the crap B&M one that was on there and the boost #s didnt change any.

ASP. with the 8" pulley you have to take the blower drive pulley off the crank to be able to remove the accessory serpentine belt, and it also puts the blower belt close to the fan motors. despite those two issues i still like running the bigger pullies on both the blower and crank so you get more belt contact which is important since im just running a 8 rib
