what do you use for.....

what do you use for.....

looking for what you turbo guys wrap around your charge pipes to prevent heat soak.

Guys either get their hotparts ceramic coated or wrapped with exhaust wrap. Same can be done with the intake charge pipes.

thanks I saw an import with its pipes wrapped up but it didn't look like exhaust header wrap at all. Almost looked like some kind of metalic wrapping.

rice = assbackwards! Stay far away from them and don't EVA copy what they do

Summit has some heat wrap that works great for exhaust or Turbo's. I even used some of it on an exhaust manifold that was close to a plug wire I can't move. It works great and is pretty cheep.

HA, well i wasn't going to copy I just didn't know what the heck it was.

Look like some gold metalic wrapping like on some moon lander.

use aluminum foil its awesome, give it that chrome look. for real though how bout getting it coated with a heat resistant coating?
