I am thinking about going with an lq9 turbo swap but am curious to see if i can hit the 850rwhp with an lt1..I am curious at what needs to be done to make that number. Im thinking of switching to a single front mount turbo anyways, but am curious to see what specific forgings are needed, if the block needs to be filled, dart sbc heads and what intake, tuning software etc..just seeing if its cheaper to stick with the lt1 or man up and go ls.
What do you guys think?

I done it with a Lunati forged 3.75 inch crank, scat H beam rods and custom CP pistons... up top were AFR 210 lt4 heads, custom comp cam, and a unported edelbrook lt4 intake fed via a t76 turbo, t56 trans and 8.8 rear. I am proud to have built a lt1... I get so sick of seeing ls this and ls that... even though a DD a ls1 GTO lol
