What does it take to run Turbo and Juiced?

I saw this in a couple mags and was wondering how much extra effort it is to spray a turbo engine? Do you just pull more timing or...

Couldn't decide wether this went in turbo...or juice forum so...here it is

TIA

Money mainly. I don't believe you would need to pull much more timing than the retard box would already be pulling since the nitrous will have a cooling effect on the intake charge and inside the cylinders. You will probably have to increase the fuel trims though.

It takes $$$ as the previous post implies. You need a very stout shortblock, a mondo fuel system, and careful tuning.

Rich would know this better than most people. How's the new setup coming along anyway?

What if the shot was only a 50 or so? I'm not sure what the norm is for spraying blown engines...the one I saw had a 100 shot I think

Anyways, there aren't any sites on this topic are there? Thanks guys...

I had an engine problem (unrelated to boost or juice) that I still haven't tracked down yet. Until I have it figured out I will not put the LT1 back together. I am in the process of building up a big block Chevy for nitrous use. It will have an aftermarket block. I am in the process of deciding on a short vs. a tall deck block. Not sure if I will put it in the Camaro or in something else. If it's going to go in the Camaro I will need to go short deck, that's why I am hung up at this point. I am going to go back to the six-speed in the Camaro if I put the LT1 back in it, the auto really wasn't much fun for street driving. I plan to use the TH400 behind the big block though as the T56 clearly wouldn't be man enough.
